Orby's by Lucy
Full branding for Orby’s by Lucy, a pet-friendly restaurant/café at the Curragh Racecourse. When Lucy took over the venue, she wanted a completely new brand that kept a connection to the original Orby’s but reflected her personal style and the unique location. We created a new logo featuring her signature and a stylised copper roof inspired by the Curragh Racecourse, updated the colour palette from the original dark green and gold to green and copper, and used traditional, timeless typography. The branding has since been applied across menus, coffee cups, signage, and seasonal graphics, helping Orby’s by Lucy establish a cohesive, recognisable, and sophisticated restaurant/café identity.
Project Description
When Lucy took ownership of Orby’s, she wanted a brand that felt modern, personal, and connected to its location at the Curragh Racecourse, while still maintaining the venue’s familiar charm.
The goal was to create a complete brand identity, from the logo to colours, typography, and applications that could be used consistently across all customer touchpoints in the restaurant/café (menus, signage. business cards and more)

The Design
The redesign updated the palette to green and copper, with copper referencing the iconic Curragh Racecourse roof, creating a sophisticated but approachable feel.
We kept the spirit of the original Orby's logo but added Lucy’s signature for a personal touch and introduced a stylised copper roof as a nod to the Curragh. Traditional serif typography was used for text to give the brand a timeless, elegant feel.

Every element was designed to enhance the overall dining experience, making it cohesive, recognisable, and aligned with Lucy’s personal style and the Curragh location.

The Result
The full rebranding established Orby’s by Lucy as a modern, welcoming, and cohesive restaurant/café brand. Customers have responded positively to the look, particularly the subtle nod to the Curragh Racecourse in the roof graphic.
The consistent branding across menus, coffee cups, signage, and seasonal graphics has strengthened the restaurant/café’s identity, helping it feel professional while enhancing the overall customer experience.
