The goal was to create a sleek, sophisticated, and playful brand that communicates the premium quality of the ingredients and the unique crepe experience, while appealing to a trend-conscious audience. The identity is designed to be instantly recognisable, Instagrammable, and adaptable across all touchpoints, from packaging to menus.

Project Description

Planet of the Crepes aims to deliver a distinctive and memorable crepe experience, combining fresh, high-quality ingredients with contemporary presentation. The target audience consists of young to middle-aged patrons who value premium, shareable experiences.

The brand needed to feel sleek, modern, and fun, without appearing tacky, and stand out in a competitive market. Key touchpoints included takeaway packaging, coffee cups, menus, and social media visuals.

The Design​

The logo is a balance of minimalism, modernity, and subtle playfulness. A futuristic font conveys sophistication, while the “A” is shaped like a crepe and encircled by a ring reminiscent of Saturn, adding originality and reinforcing the “out of this world” concept.

The overall brand palette is kept clean and contemporary to reflect quality and luxury, while design elements such as playful iconography and subtle textures add personality and visual interest.

Applications of the brand were considered across:

  • Takeaway packaging including crepe sleeves and coffee cups, designed to be visually striking and shareable on social media

  • Menus and in-store graphics, balancing sleek typography with playful elements

  • Digital presence, ensuring a cohesive identity across social media and online touchpoints
